Sabre Construction is expanding its civil team and is looking for experienced Civil GPS Machine Operators.
We are looking for capable civil operators who can work accurately and independently using GPS machine control, understand what they are building, and are equally prepared to get out of the machine and work alongside the crew when required.

You’ll be operating a range of civil plant including excavators and bulldozers across earthworks, drainage, roading, land development and general civil construction.
This is not simply a machine operating role. We are looking for experienced operators who can interpret plans and digital models, understand levels and tolerances, work confidently around existing services, and contribute to the overall delivery of the job.
GPS machine control experience is essential.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience operating civil construction machinery, particularly excavators and/or bulldozers.
Strong practical experience using GPS machine control systems.
The ability to interpret construction drawings, design plans and digital models.
Experience across bulk earthworks, site cuts, trenching, backfilling, drainage, roading and general civil works.
A good understanding of levels, grades, tolerances and finished surfaces.
Experience working safely around underground services and utilities.
Strong understanding of civil construction health and safety requirements.
Class 2 license preferred, with Class 4 a significant advantage.
The ability and willingness to work on the ground alongside the crew when required.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors and other members of the site team.
Leadership capability or the potential to take greater responsibility on site.
