Job summary

Jora New Zealand is actively seeking technically minded individuals to join our die-setting team. This role involves setting tools and dies according to planned production using SMED principles, ensuring products meet quality standards and assisting with production area setup as needed.

Ideal candidates are experienced in press operation, hold a forklift license (bonus), and have factory experience. A proactive team player who can follow directions will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Press operation experience required.
• Forklift license is a bonus and helpful for material handling.
• Experience in a factory environment is essential.
• Able to perform tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• A self-motivated team player with good collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Set tools in accordance with production plans utilizing SMED framework.
• Ensure products comply with Quality Control standards.
• Set metal stamping dies and assist with setting up production area as required.
• Ensure dies are maintained and cleaned to ensure readiness for production.
• Assist with meeting production requirements as a machine operator and packer if required.

Our Client, established in 1955 is aleading manufacturer of fasteners and joinery for the residential construction industry. Due to the current workload, there are opportunities for technically minded people or suitably qualified and experienced die-setters to join thisever-expanding team.

Key Responsibilities
