Job summary

Glow Skin and Body Spa in New Plymouth is seeking a passionate, experienced Beauty Therapist to join our team. This role offers either part-time or full-time hours and requires a minimum of 2 years' experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.

You will perform a range of treatments, consult with clients, maintain hygiene, keep records, upsell products and contribute to a supportive team environment. Competitive remuneration and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a beauty therapist
• Warm, friendly and professional
• Strong client care and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of beauty treatments including facials, waxing, brows, lashes, pedicures and manicures
• Consult with clients to understand skin type, concerns and treatment preferences
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and professional treatment environment
• Apply skincare products and treatments with precision to ensure client comfort
• Keep detailed client records to personalise future visits
• Recommend homecare routines to maximise treatment benefits
• Stay up to date with latest beauty trends and techniques
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues to deliver excellent service
• Meet sales targets by recommending and selling retail beauty products
