Job summary

Divya’s Makeover in New Plymouth, New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Beauty Therapist to join our team. The role includes a wide range of beauty treatments, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Hours are a minimum of 32 per week with pay ranging from NZD 32 to NZD 35 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a beauty therapy certificate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide beauty treatments including makeup, waxing, facials, massages, lashes, brows, and nails.
• Consult with clients to understand beauty needs and recommend treatments.
• Maintain hygiene and infection control standards.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Maintain client records and product recommendations.
• Promote salon services and manage appointments and payments.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming salon environment.

Divya’s Makeover is seeking an experienced and professional Beauty Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide a range of beauty treatments while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Employment details

• Position: Beauty Therapist
• Hours: Minimum 32 hours per week.
• Remuneration range: From $32.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on skills and level of experience.
• Location: Divya’s Makeover, New Plymouth, New Zealand.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide beauty treatments including, cosmetic and corrective makeup, hair removal (waxing, threading etc), facials, massages, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, eyebrow shaping, eyebrow tinting, eyebrow lamination, and nail services.
• Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs and recommend suitable treatments.
• Perform treatments safely and professionally while following hygiene and infection control standards.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain client records, including treatment details and product recommendations.
• Provide advice on skincare, beauty maintenance, and aftercare.
• Promote salon services and products to clients.
• Manage client appointments, enquiries, and payments.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional salon environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
