Job summary

McCann NZ is seeking a Lead Experience Designer to own the end-to-end experience across brands, campaigns, products and digital experiences. You will collaborate across Creative, Strategy, Production, Technology and Account teams to turn ambitious ideas into tangible experiences that are useful, intuitive and engaging.

You’ll champion UX discipline, push briefs, and help embed experience thinking across the agency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience across UX, UI or experience design.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and how to apply them.
• Sophisticated eye for UI and digital craft.
• Experience defining user journeys, IA and design systems.
• Ability to move between strategy, concept, interaction and execution.
• Experience with web, mobile and emerging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead experience design across websites, digital products, platforms and campaigns.
• Translate business, brand and audience challenges into clear opportunities.
• Shape user journeys, IA and interaction models from concept to delivery.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs and design systems.
• Collaborate with Creative and Strategy teams to connect brand thinking with experience thinking.
• Mentor and develop other designers and grow the team.
