Job summary

Babcock is looking for an Estimator to join the Project Controls team based in Devonport, Auckland.

Working closely with project, engineering and commercial teams, you'll develop robust estimates, analyse risks and opportunities, and contribute to competitive tender submissions that support critical customer outcomes.

About you

You are an analytical and detail-oriented estimator who enjoys solving complex project challenges. You have experience developing cost estimates across multiple project lifecycle stages and can confidently apply bottom-up, top-down, comparative and parametric estimating techniques. You understand risk, uncertainty and forecasting principles, and can communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Comfortable working in a structured, compliance-focused environment, you thrive in collaborative teams, embrace continuous improvement, and are motivated by delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes for customers and programmes.
