Job summary

Public Trust in Tauranga is seeking a Trustee to help New Zealanders protect their families and futures. You will join a nationwide team delivering estate management, wills, enduring power of attorney, and trust services, with a focus on providing expert guidance and compassionate support to clients.

As part of the Retail team, you will ensure outstanding customer service, manage estate administration tasks, and work closely with Principal and Senior Trustees.

Qualifications

• Experience in estate administration, either professionally or personal experience managing a loved one’s estate.
• Interest or experience in working with communities, social services, health organisations, or support services.
• Experience working with customers during significant moments in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive exceptional service during estate planning conversations, identifying needs and offering solutions.
• Provide administrative support to Trustees, including probate applications and organising repairs for ongoing estates.
• Maintain accurate customer information and protect sensitive data.
• Conduct Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney interviews for straightforward cases.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and ensure activities are recorded; provide front-of-house support.
