Job summary

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join the People team and deliver end-to-end recruitment support for leaders across the organisation.

You will build trusted relationships, coach leaders in best practice, and manage advertising, sourcing, screening and selection with a values-led approach. The role is based in Wellington at our head office and offers flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or HR advisory.
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment across diverse roles.
• Good knowledge of NZ employment legislation and recruitment best practice.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging, inclusive and targeted job advertisements with hiring leaders.
• Support sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
• Coach leaders through screening, shortlisting, interviewing and selection.
• Develop role-specific interview questions and materials.
• Coordinate interviews and provide timely communication to candidates.
• Guide on position and FTE management in line with workforce plans and budgets.
• Represent the organisation at recruitment events and initiatives.
