Job summary

Danone Nutricia NZ is seeking an Equipment Operator (Warehouse) for our Dairy Factory in Balclutha. You will join the Production team to process raw milk into infant formula and help deliver high-quality products daily.

This permanent full-time role operates on a rotating shift (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) and involves physical work. A forklift licence, GMP knowledge, and a team-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating factory machinery or equipment in a production setting.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge and a strong health, safety, and quality focus.
• Hygiene requirements in a food manufacturing plant, ideally High Care.
• Current forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating forklifts safely.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work shifts, and willingness to be a team player.

Danone Nutricia NZ is looking for a Equipment Operator (Warehouse)to join our team in our Dairy Factory in Balclutha. You will be part of our Production team to support the processing of raw milk into infant formula, and play a key role in delivering high-quality products, for the first time right to our consumers day after day. You will assist in achieving our business goals through your ability to be alert, follow our procedures, and be a great team player.

This vacancyisa a permanent full-time job, working a rotating shift roster 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off. Please note these are physical roles that involve heavy lifting, standing in long periods and climbing stairs on a daily basis.

To be successful you will have:

• Experience operating factory machinery, preferably in the food industry. Familiarity with spray-drying processes is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)and a strong Health & Safety and Quality focus.
• An understanding of hygiene requirementsin a food manufacturing plant, ideally within a High Care environment.
• A current forklift licenceand demonstrated experience safely operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehousing, or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail, the ability to work shifts, and a commitment to being a team player.
