Job summary

Hirepool is seeking a Customer/Service Person to help ensure our equipment is fit for hire and to advise customers in-branch and over the phone on the right tools for their projects. Training and development are provided, with no prior industry experience required beyond a positive, can-do attitude and teamwork.

You’ll learn about tools and machinery, assist with reservations and contracts, and support a busy yard. Roles available in 1x Waltham, 3x Harewood, 1x Hornby, Canterbury.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 Driver's Licence (other classes and endorsements an advantage)
• Experience with tools and machinery would be a strong advantage
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Happy to work on a rostered basis including weekends

Responsibilities

• Answer phone queries and raise customer reservations and contracts
• Offer advice on which tools and machinery are required for different jobs
• Learn what tools and machinery are required for different jobs
• Maintain and keep the yard clean and organised
• Follow Health and Safety practices to ensure you work safely for both yourself and customers
