Job summary

Beca Environmental Advisory is seeking an early-career Environmental Scientist to join our team in Auckland or Wellington. You’ll work primarily in water quality, supporting wastewater and infrastructure projects, with opportunities across related environmental disciplines.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years’ experience, a relevant tertiary degree, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel for fieldwork and client engagements across NZ.

Qualifications

• Water quality experience within NZ frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tertiary degree in environmental science, chemistry, or environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Undertake field work at locations across NZ.
• Environmental construction monitoring and sampling of soil and water.
• Prepare desktop and site reports to support projects and compliance.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients.
