Job summary

Craigs Investment Partners is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to own and maintain the enterprise architecture across business, information, application and technology domains. The role sits in the Digital Business Team and reports to the Head of Digital, Data and AI in Tauranga.

You will lead the development of roadmaps, govern architectural standards and provide design assurance while staying abreast of AI advances to guide strategic technology decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise architecture experience in a similar sized organisation.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities with stakeholders.
• Favourable: exposure to AI / ML technology and governance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps and blueprints across business, information, application and technology domains.
• Operate across the full technology landscape beyond a single project or programme.
• Maintain awareness of technology advances, especially AI, to inform decisions.
• Define architectural principles, standards and reference architectures and govern their adoption.
• Provide solution design assurance and governance as required.
• Support technology evaluation and selection to create a coherent technology landscape.

The Enterprise Architect role is located within the Digital Business Team, and the primary focus is to develop, own and maintain the enterprise architecture across the business, information, application and technology domains, ensuring technology investment aligns with CIP’s strategic objectives and Target Operating Model. This is a full-time permanent role, based at our Tauranga office.

Reporting to the Head of Digital, Data and AI role, the Enterprise Architect will be primarily responsible for:

• Maintaining the enterprise architecture roadmaps and blueprints within the appropriate documentation systems
• Operating across the full technology landscape rather than within any single project or programme.
• Maintaining an awareness of technology advances and in particular AI to ensure decisions are well informed as regard the direction and capability of new technology.
• Defining architectural principles, standards and reference architectures, governs their adoption across the organisation
• Providing solution design assurance and governance as required.
• Supporting the technology evaluation and selection to support a coherent, rationalised technology landscape.

About you

This role will suit an experienced Enterprise Architect with 8+ years' experience, including demonstrated enterprise architecture experience within a similar sized organisation as well as have:

• Strategic thinking, innovative, leadership, builds relationships, technologist
• Strong experience in the whole SDLC with specific exposure to Agile methods.
• Recent experience of Machine Learning and Generative AI technology would be favourable.
• Commercial / business acumen
• Strong influencing and relationship management skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A proven ability to define and govern enterprise-wide architecture and roadmaps, to deliver results.
