Rai Valley Area School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher for the beginning of 2027 to teach English Years 9 to 13.

The successful candidate will:

• be a New Zealand registered and certificated teacher
• have suitable qualification to teach NCEA English
• builds strong and meaningful relationships with students and whanau
• have strong curriculum knowledge with a focus on student engagement, relational teaching, and student agency.
• be a teacher who has a love of learning and supporting a range of students to do the same
• be enthusiastic, collaborative, and willing to contribute to the wider school community.
