We are seeking a dynamic English teacher to join our team on a fixed-term contract for the 2027 school year.

Located in central Wellington, St Mary’s College is a state-integrated Catholic girls’ secondary school. We have a close-knit community known for its supportive culture, collegial staff and excellent academic outcomes.

We are seeking a collaborative, passionate and well-organised teacher of English to join our teaching team for 1 year, at the start of 2027. This is a fixed term, full-time position covering a staff member who will be on study leave.

We are looking for someone who can ensure that our students engage, thrive and achieve. Staff within the learning area work closely together so collegial support is strong. The ability to teach at all levels will be an advantage.
