Auror is seeking an Engineering Lead for Subject Recognition / On Prem to guide one of our core product areas. You will shape technology enabling real-time crime detection and build a reliable on-site deployment across a fleet of cameras and on-prem servers.

You’ll lead an engineering team, drive performance and reliability, and champion responsible engineering as Auror expands globally. This role requires strategic thinking and strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven technical expertise in C#, .NET Core, distributed and edge systems.
• Experience with on-prem infrastructure and fleet management.
• Leadership experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong communication to explain complex tech to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in integrating AI and LLMs to improve engineering practices.
• Big picture thinking about scalability, performance, maintainability, UX.
• Prioritisation and decision-making to ship increments.
• Commitment to product quality: reliability, security, data integrity.
