Job summary

WSP in Auckland is seeking a water engineer to join our high-performing Water Team. You will provide technical design assistance on water and wastewater infrastructure projects and work with a large team on diverse nationwide projects.

Preference is for a Mechanical Engineer with relevant experience. You will be mentored by high-performing professionals and connect with global counterparts to learn solutions used in Aotearoa, advancing your career trajectory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in infrastructure/water and wastewater in a design consultancy.
• A tertiary qualification in engineering.
• CPEng or equivalent considered a plus.
• Experience in design and design management for water supply and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.
• Desire to contribute through construction phase delivery and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design assistance on water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with a high-performing Auckland Water Team and connect with global counterparts.
• Participate in delivering projects across the country from design through to construction.

About you:

• Minimum 3 years' professional experience as an infrastructure / water and wastewater professional in a design consultancy
• A tertiary qualification in engineering
• CPEng or equivalent
• Experience in design, design management in water supply and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pumpstations
• Keen to be involved in delivering projects through the construction phase
• Collaborative, approachable, and curious
