Job summary

WSP NZ is seeking a Water Resources Consultant to join our Auckland Water team. You will contribute to delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for clients and apply strong technical delivery across water infrastructure projects.

The role requires a relevant Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of five years’ professional experience, with commercial awareness and excellent communication and stakeholder skills. This is a full-time position based in Auckland, NZ.

  • Strong technical delivery and assurance experience across water infrastructure projects.

Water Resources Consultant - Auckland

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Resources Consultant to join our Auckland Water team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of safe, high-quality outcomes for our clients, while contributing strongly to technical delivery across water infrastructure projects.

You will be part of a high-performance, inclusive team culture aligned to the Water Sector strategy and WSP’s Guiding Principles.

This is a full time role 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.

Salary - $95,000 - $105,000

About you:
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in water resource engineering projects
  • Strong technical delivery and assurance experience across water infrastructure projects.
  • Commercial acumen, client focus, and the ability to contribute to project financial health, resourcing and utilisation.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder relationship skills.
