Summerset Retirement Villages is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator for Aotea Village in Wellington. You will plan and deliver a diverse programme of activities, events and outings that enrich residents' daily lives.

You will build warm relationships with residents, families and colleagues, coordinate celebrations, and support wellbeing through exercise and social programs. A full-time, Monday–Friday role with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people and promoting positive ageing.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Current First Aid Certificate and LCQ qualification, plus a full driver’s licence.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver a diverse range of activities, events and entertainment for residents.
• Organise and coordinate special celebrations and themed events.
• Support residents' individual needs while maintaining positive relationships with families.
• Create engaging environments and decorations for village events.
• Facilitate exercise programmes, recreational activities, and resident outings.
