Placements24 is looking for an Energy Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to vital projects in Queenstown. You will design, develop and maintain energy assets, including generation facilities, transmission lines and distribution networks, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Your role involves collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to meet specifications, manage risks, and deliver on schedule within NZ standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design and management of energy infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with engineering design software and familiarity with industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer components of energy infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses for new developments.
• Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning phases per design specifications.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs for energy assets to ensure longevity and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to power systems and grid connectivity.
