Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in power system engineering focused on grid integration of renewables.
  • Proficiency with power system analysis software (PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP).
  • Strong knowledge of grid codes, interconnection standards and power quality.
  • Experience with energy storage systems (batteries) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze impact of renewable energy projects on grid stability and performance.
  • Develop technical specifications for grid connection requirements and equipment.
  • Conduct studies on power system stability, fault levels, and voltage regulation.
  • Collaborate with grid operators to ensure compliance with interconnection standards.

This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless and stable integration of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, into the existing electricity grid. You will be involved in the technical assessment, design, and implementation of grid connection solutions, working closely with grid operators, project developers, and equipment manufacturers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of power systems, grid codes, and the technical challenges associated with integrating intermittent energy generation.
