Job summary

Ag Assist in Dunsandel, Canterbury, is seeking a Farm Worker to join our team. The role is outdoors, hands-on, with varied tasks across the week. Full training provided, and there will be opportunities to learn new skills and develop within the role.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, reliable, willing to learn, and capable of working independently or with a team. Lifting 15-20 kg, and available to work one weekend day per week.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to regularly lift approximately 15-20 kg.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions - rain, sunshine, hot or cold.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Have your own reliable vehicle.
• Hardworking, self-motivated and takes pride in doing the job properly.
• Can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• A keen learner who is interested in developing new skills.
• Prepared to get stuck in and help wherever needed.
• Available to work one weekend day per week.

• Collecting, grading and processing eggs
• Tractor and general farm work
• Fencing and light building projects
