Job summary

New Zealand Police are seeking a full-time Communications Officer to join our busy call centre. You will handle a wide range of calls, from burglaries to distress, calmly assessing needs and ensuring appropriate Police responses.

You will be trained to support the public, manage high-stress situations, and work within a diverse team with clear progression pathways. Intakes begin 13 January 2027 with 15% after-hours pay and shift incentives; Paraparaumu, Kapiti Coast location includes free onsite

Qualifications
