Job summary

FlexWare Ltd, an Auckland-based electronics and software design house, is seeking an Electronics Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. The position covers full-spectrum electronic product R&D, with flexibility from 0.8 to 1.0 FTE to suit work-life balance and skills.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years PCB design and firmware experience, strong C/C++, and familiarity with Altium. You will work with MCU platforms and wireless tech, contributing to robust hardware and software development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PCB design experience.
• 2+ years firmware development experience.
• Based in Auckland, NZ and legally eligible to work.
• Proficient with Git and embedded C/C++.
• Experience with wireless tech (BLE/Wi‑Fi/Zigbee/RF) and MCUs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electronics hardware and firmware development.
• Design PCB layouts and ensure robust, reliable performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software and hardware teams.
• Diagnose, debug, and manage projects to deadlines.
