Job summary

Northpower in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to lead electricity infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. This hands-on role involves coordinating resources, supervising crews, and delivering work safely, on time and within budget, while building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

You will bring proven leadership, knowledge of distribution networks, and a strong safety focus, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• National or NZ electrical trade qualification relevant to the role.
• Current practising licence for your trade.
• Experience supervising field crews on infrastructure projects.
• Ideal knowledge of LV/HV distribution networks and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise delivery of electricity projects from planning to completion.
• Lead job briefs and ensure thorough planning before crews mobilise.
• Supervise field teams and subcontractors to achieve safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.
• Inspect sites to monitor quality, safety, and progress, and resolve issues.
• Manage labour, materials, equipment and contractor requirements.
