Job summary

North Island - Wellington is seeking an experienced Electrical Works Coordinator to join our team delivering essential electrical projects across the Wellington region. You will coordinate maintenance and project activities across HV and LV networks, working with project managers, engineers, field crews, and clients.

You're expected to have a solid understanding of overhead lines and underground cables, plus strong planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience within the electricity, utilities, or power infrastructure sector.
• Knowledge of overhead line networks, underground cable systems, or both.
• Strong coordination, planning, and scheduling abilities.
• The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and project work across electrical network assets
• Plan resources and support the delivery of work programmes
• Assist with job scoping, documentation, and risk assessments
• Work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and operational teams
• Monitor progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact delivery
• Support successful project outcomes through effective communication and collaboration
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and delivery functions
