Job summary

IntoWork in Christchurch is seeking a trade-qualified Electrician to join our experienced team delivering residential and commercial electrical solutions across the Canterbury region. You'll work on new builds, renovations, maintenance, and systems such as AC, solar, and security.

Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be involved in a range of electrical work including:

• Residential new builds and architectural homes.
• Renovations and alterations for both home and business spaces.
• Maintenance services, fault finding, and regular safety inspections.
• Commercial projects, office fit-outs, and facility upgrades.
• AC & Duct systems installation and servicing.
• Solar installation and renewable energy solutions.
• Security systems, alarms, and smart technology.

What you'll need:

• NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence, or a trainee working under a current Trainee Limited Certificate
• Proven experience across residential and/or commercial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with builders, property managers, and homeowners.
• A valid, clean NZ driver’s licence.
• A reliable, self-motivated work ethic with a strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
