ATT is seeking a trade-qualified Electrician to join our Christchurch team, delivering top-tier residential and commercial electrical solutions across the area.

You’ll work on a variety of projects from new builds and renovations to solar installations and smart systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The role offers competitive pay, a company vehicle, and ongoing training in a stable, long-established business.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence.
• Proven experience across residential and/or commercial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent communication with builders, property managers, and homeowners.
• A valid, clean NZ driver’s licence.
• Commitment to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial electrical work including new builds, renovations, maintenance, fault finding, and safety inspections.
• Contribute to major commercial fit-outs and premium residential installations.
• Install and service AC & Duct systems, solar, and renewable energy solutions.
• Work on security systems, alarms, and smart technology.
• Collaborate with builders, property managers and homeowners to ensure high-quality results.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be involved in a range of electrical work including:

• Residential new builds and architectural homes.
• Renovations and alterations for both home and business spaces.
• Maintenance services, fault finding, and regular safety inspections.
• Commercial projects, office fit-outs, and facility upgrades.
• AC & Duct systems installation and servicing.
• Solar installation and renewable energy solutions.
• Security systems, alarms, and smart technology.

What you'll need:

• NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence, or a trainee working under a current Trainee Limited Certificate
• Proven experience across residential and/or commercial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with builders, property managers, and homeowners.
• A valid, clean NZ driver’s licence.
• A reliable, self-motivated work ethic with a strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
