Job summary

Ski Corporation in Queenstown is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt crew. The role focuses on diagnosing faults, maintaining electrical systems, and supporting maintenance across mountain facilities.

It is a full-time permanent position with a four-day week rotation. Ideal candidates hold NZ Electrical certification and a valid driver’s license, with 2+ years experience and a proactive safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain and repair AC & DC drives, control systems and PLCs.
• Support general maintenance across ski resort facilities.
• Work four days a week across a seven-day operation.

The Remarkables ski area have an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded Electrician with a love of the outdoors.

The ideal candidate will be confident in working on a variety of electrical equipment. Electrical work might be your main task, but you may also be asked to assist with general maintenance duties as and when required.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• A current NZ Electrical certification and practising license
• A minimum of 2years' experience as a qualified electrician with knowledge of AC & DC drives, Control Systems, PLC's and Industrial Electrics
• A full NZ driver's license. HT licence would be advantageous.

Working four days a week across a seven-day operation.
