Job summary

Tradestaff Hawke's Bay is seeking a qualified Commercial and Residential Electrician to join our team in Hastings. Work spans new builds, renovations, maintenance, and fit-outs across Hawke’s Bay, with a focus on quality installations and safety.

You’ll need NZ registration (EWRB) with a current practising licence, plus experience in commercial or residential work and the ability to read electrical plans. Immediate start and weekly pay are offered, with generous hours available.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Electrician (EWRB) with current practising licence.
• Experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans.
• Physically fit and able to work across various sites.
• Able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
• Reliable transport and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Commercial and residential electrical installations.
• Cable tray, conduit, and cable installation.
• Switchboard and distribution board work.
• Fault finding, repairs, and maintenance.
• Installation of lighting, power, and control systems.
• Testing and commissioning electrical systems.
• Following site safety procedures and industry standards.
