Job summary

GO WEST ELECTRICAL SERVICES LIMITED in Auckland is seeking an experienced Electrical trade Technician to join our team. The role involves hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, system assembly and supporting engineering projects from concept through deployment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of NZ experience, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to read diagrams and technical documentation, with experience using electronic testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of NZ electronics technician experience or NZ Certificate in Electrical Engineering L4.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documents.
• Experience with electronic testing equipment and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electronic systems and equipment.
• Assemble, test, and commission electronic components and systems.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Provide technical support to engineers and project teams.
• Lead fault-finding and problem-solving activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and documentation.

The Role

Skills and Experience

• Proven at least two years of relevant NZ work experience as an electronics technician or a certificate in Electrical engineering L4 qualification.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
