Fulton Hogan in Alexandra, Central Otago, is hiring an Electrical Supervisor to lead our Central Otago Electrical team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on people, plant and fleet performance across regional projects, combining planning, client relations and site delivery with a practical, down-to-earth approach.

You will work with the Electrical Department Manager to maintain smooth day-to-day operations, lift service delivery and support a safety-conscious team, while driving KPI

Qualifications

• Registration as a New Zealand Electrician and a current driver licence.
• Proven experience in electrical operations, planning and delivering work to programme.
• Strong people leadership skills and ability to coach others.
• Solid budgeting, pricing, job costing and understanding costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day electrical operations across projects in Central Otago.

• Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to lead our Central Otago Electrical team based in Alexandra. This is a hands-on leadership role with plenty of variety, where you'll help maximise the performance of people, plant and fleet across a range of projects in the region.

You'll work closely with the Electrical Department Manager to keep day-to-day operations running well, lift service delivery, and back your team to do good work safely. It's a role for someone who can balance planning, people leadership, client relationships and site delivery without the stiff corporate carry-on.

• Solid commercial nous, including budgeting, pricing, job costing and understanding labour, plant and material costs.
• Confidence using systems and software such as Word, Excel and email, with asset management systems, CMMS, VSD, motors or PLC experience a bonus.
