Job summary

Wintec is seeking an Academic Staff Member for Electrical Pre-Trades to support learners in gaining trades skills at pre-apprenticeship level. The role covers NZ Certificate in Electrical Pre‑Trades Level 3 and related programmes, with a salary between $77,500 and $90,000.

Based at Rotokauri Campus, you will report to the Team Manager and contribute to engaging lessons and industry-aligned learning. Ideal candidates have a relevant Level 4+ electrician qualification, current practising licence,

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification at Level 4 or higher as an Electrician.
• Registered electrician with a current practising licence from the NZ Electrical Workers Registration Board.
• At least 5 years of practical industry experience in the electrical trade.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (citizen, permanent resident or valid work permit).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
