Job summary

Connetics is seeking a Release Planner to join the Northern team in New Zealand. The role focuses on developing, planning, generating, submitting and obtaining approvals for LV and HV network releases in line with customer expectations around safety and quality.

You will coordinate outages, support project scoping, and review methodologies while maintaining accurate workload visibility and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operations role within the distribution electrical supply industry.
• Significant experience planning and scheduling resources in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and problem solving.
• Good understanding of safety standards and electrical regulations.
• Strong discipline and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build strong lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, submit and coordinate LV/HV network releases and operating orders.
• Support project scoping and methodology development.
• Review project methodologies and network information; identify operating requirements and report defects or discrepancies in records.
• Coordinate outages and shutdown requirements with Wellington Electricity.
• Maintain an accurate view of workloads, resources, priorities and workflow requirements.
• Schedule people and teams to maximise utilisation and efficiency.
