Qualifications

• A relevant qualification (degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience).
• Current industry knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Teaching experience is a bonus - support is provided if you're new to teaching.
• Solid background in electrical engineering (or closely related field).
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, practical way.
• Comfortable using tools, technology and systems used in industry.
• Strong communication skills - you can connect with a wide range of people.
• Organised and able to manage workload, deadlines and admin tasks.
• Passion for helping others learn and succeed.

Responsibilities

• You'll teach and support learners across electrical engineering programmes, combining your technical expertise with modern teaching approaches.
• From planning engaging sessions to providing meaningful feedback, you'll create a positive, inclusive learning environment where students thrive.
• You'll also contribute to programme development, stay connected with industry, and play a part in continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.
