BGIS is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of commercial electrical infrastructure, electrical distribution, solar, and battery energy storage projects across New Zealand. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will work collaboratively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and BGIS teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that support safe, reliable, and sustainable operations.
This role plays a key part in ensuring engineering projects are delivered efficiently, comply with New Zealand standards and regulations, and meet client expectations for quality and performance.
The ideal candidate will be a practical, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, sound commercial judgement, and a passion for delivering innovative engineering solutions.
To support your growth and integration into the team, this position will initially be based from our Auckland office with regular client engagement requirements. Following successful onboarding and demonstrated performance, a flexible hybrid working arrangement may be available.
