Job summary

Babbage Consultants Limited invites an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Auckland. You will design and deliver electrical services across a broad range of NZ projects, develop designs and documentation, and manage your own project priorities while collaborating across disciplines and engaging with clients.

You’ll also gain site-based project support, with opportunities to grow your technical and professional capability and advance toward Chartered status.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree recognised under the Washington Accord.
• 5+ years’ post-graduate experience within a building services consultancy.
• Strong electrical building services design experience.
• Experience with 3D design tools (Revit) and coordinating services across disciplines.
• Confidence managing multiple projects, priorities and client relationships.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Willingness to become Chartered, if not already.
• Experience with healthcare or hospital projects including ELV services advantageous.

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Auckland. From hospitals and aged care facilities to commercial, residential,retailand industrial developments,you’llwork with clients and colleagues across disciplines to deliver practical, high-performing electrical solutions.

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer within our Building Services team, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of electrical services across a broad range of projects throughout New Zealand.You’lldevelop designs and documentation, manage your own project priorities and work directly with clients.You’llcollaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated building designs, while also getting out on site for construction monitoring and project support.

There’splenty of variety and technical challenge, along with the opportunity to strengthen your client-facing experience and continue developing your technical and professional capability.

We’rekeen to hear from engineers with:

• An Electrical Engineering degree recognised under the Washington Accord, or equivalent
