Job summary

Education Services Group in Dunedin is seeking a part-time psychologist to support inclusive practice and student outcomes within its Learning Support team. The role involves collaboration with schools, teachers and families, plus specialist assessments for targeted interventions.

Applicants must be NZ-registered (or Intern) with a relevant master’s qualification and a Diploma in Educational Psychology. Travel across the district is expected, and KiwiSaver is provided.

Qualifications

• NZ-registered psychologist with current practising certificate or registered as an Intern.
• Master’s level tertiary qualification and a post-graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Enhancing inclusive practices in early learning services, schools and other educational settings.
• Providing professional support and guidance to schools, teachers and families and building capacity of those who support learning.
• Conducting appropriate specialist assessment and analysis to inform interventions.
• Working as part of a trans-disciplinary team to address complex needs of children and young people.
• Potential involvement in project work, individual casework, targeted group work and systems-level work.
