Job summary

Kumara Vine in Napier is seeking a Psychologist to provide equitable psychological services for children with additional learning needs. The role is based in the Ahuriri Office and is 0.8 FTE, reflecting an experienced, collaborative practitioner.

You will apply strengths-based approaches, work with learners and whānau, and support schools with intervention plans, data-informed decisions and cross-agency collaboration. NZ driver licence required.

Qualifications

• Master’s level qualification and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Psychology.
• NZ Registered Psychologist with current practising certificate.
• Translate specialist knowledge into practical information.
• Coordinate multi-agency service provision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ākonga/learners and whānau across settings.
• Understanding and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga.
• Full NZ driver licence for travel.
