• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing procurement teams.
• Significant procurement experience, ideally in the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Buyers Desk team and deliver high-quality procurement support across the Ministry.
• Provide practical procurement advice and support across the organisation.
• Ensure customers receive timely assistance, help simplify procurement processes, and identify opportunities to improve the way we work through better processes, systems and service delivery.
• You'll work closely with teams across the Ministry to understand their needs, deliver customer-focused solutions, and ensure procurement activities align with organisational priorities and good public sector practice.
• You'll also play a key role in supporting procurement planning, supplier management initiatives and continuous improvement across the function.
