Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience leading successful software teams designing web applications that are robust, maintainable, scalable, and secure, with APIs, service boundaries, and integration patterns.
• Expert in Java and TypeScript, with Spring and SQL design a bonus; AWS desirable but not essential.
• A technical or computer science background is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into product team deliverables.
• Strong Agile/SCRUM experience and project management understanding.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills; ability to delegate and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software and content development teams to build a best-in-class online platform and content products.
• Report directly to the CTO and translate strategic goals into actionable team plans.
• Foster collaboration across engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Oversee delivery, quality, and security of web applications.
• Drive agile practices and continuous improvement.
