Compass Group New Zealand is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our Education sector portfolio from the Central Production Kitchen in Penrose, Auckland.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and operational direction across multiple sites, ensuring outstanding service delivery, strong client relationships, commercial success, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site leadership experience in a similar operational role.
• Strong commercial acumen with budget management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading, motivating and developing teams.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety, quality systems and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiple operations to achieve service, safety and financial objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and growth.
• Drive commercial performance through budgeting and cost control.
• Recruit, develop, coach and mentor leaders and operational teams.
