Job summary

New Zealand Government is seeking a Change Lead based in Wellington for a 12-month secondment or fixed-term opportunity. You will partner with the leadership team to drive implementation of Workplace Review recommendations and lead culture change across Te Poutahu.

You will provide expert change guidance, develop embedment plans, and coach senior leaders to sustain behavioural change while aligning with organisational goals. Salary range reflects skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading leadership, culture, or organisational transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence, support and coach senior leaders through change.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and support to leadership on change and implementation approaches.
• Lead organisation-wide culture and leadership change initiatives arising from the Workplace Review.
• Coach and support senior leaders to lead change effectively and consistently.
• Develop and implement change, engagement and embedment plans that support lasting behavioural change.
