Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island in Auckland is seeking an eCommerce Digital Specialist to transform business needs into practical digital solutions. You will report to the eCommerce Digital Manager and work with experienced professionals to build hands-on experience in the fast-moving world of online shopping.

Ideally you bring experience in eCommerce, digital, technology or operations, strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to balance competing requests while delivering high-value

Qualifications

• Experience in eCommerce, digital, technology, product, operations or a similar environment.
• Ability to assess competing requests and balance customer value, operational impact, business benefit and delivery effort.
• Excellent planning, written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working independently, managing priorities and decisions within agreed governance frameworks.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Experience using platforms or tools such as GA4, Looker Studio or content management systems considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and triage digital enhancement requests from New World, PAK’nSAVE, Four Square and other business units, using commercial and operational judgement to identify the highest-value opportunities.
• Partner with IT Product Owners to evaluate and prioritise requests, balancing customer value, commercial outcomes, operational impact and delivery effort.
• Track digital initiatives against timelines, objectives and expected outcomes, while providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain the governance framework and knowledge base for eCommerce capabilities, helping stakeholders understand functionality, priorities and delivery trade-offs.
• Build hands-on capability in Dynamic Yield and support the eCommerce Digital Manager with planning, delivery and reporting.
