Job summary

Kindercare Learning Centres Ltd (Kilbirnie) in Wellington seeks an ECE Qualified Teacher for a permanent, full-time position. The successful kaiako will engage tamariki aged 0–5 through play, nurture whānau partnerships, and deliver learning aligned with the local curriculum. Residency or NZ work visa is required.

Qualifications

• ECE qualified and registered teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.
• Permanent, full-time availability (40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun-filled learning experiences for tamariki aged 0–5.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and whānau.
• Provide learning in line with the local curriculum and whanau values.
• Practice respectful care as a core teaching value.
• Understand the developmental and emotional needs of tamariki.
