Job summary

Adventureland Early Learning Centre in Auckland’s North Island is seeking a qualified and registered ECE teacher to join our toddler team. Our toddlers are active and curious, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this age group.You’ll move confidently between priorities, plan, assess and document learning, engage groups and supervise effectively. We value collaboration, professional growth and opportunities to develop leadership over time.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered ECE teacher required.
• Experience in an ECE environment with toddlers preferred.
• Strong planning, assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and whanau.

Early learning / kōhanga reo, Certificated teacher

We’re looking for an energetic, confident and caring qualified ECE teacher to join our toddler team.
Our toddlers are active, curious and always on the move, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this age group and thrives in a lively environment.
Our toddler room is busy, so strong situational awareness, organisation and initiative are important. You’ll be able to move confidently between different priorities, stay actively engaged with children while maintaining effective supervision, and notice where you’re needed without always needing direction.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are a qualified and registered ECE teacher
• Have a couple of years of experience in an ECE environment, ideally with toddlers
• Are energetic, proactive and genuinely enjoy working with active young children
• Can confidently engage and manage groups of children
• Have strong planning, assessment and documentation skills
• Understand meaningful, intentional teaching and recognise opportunities for learning throughout the day
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, whanau and your teaching team
• Are organised, adaptable and able to move between priorities while maintaining strong supervision
• Take initiative and contribute positively to a busy team environment
• Are interested in developing your leadership capability and taking on greater responsibility over time
