Job summary

Educare Lincoln Village seeks an experienced Leader- Assistant Centre Manager or Team Leader to drive daily operations and nurture a positive, thriving centre culture. This full-time role provides mentorship, leadership of teaching teams, and a clear pathway to Centre Manager within our Senior Leadership team.

You will work across four age-specific spaces, uphold Te Whāriki, and foster strong tamariki, whānau, and community partnerships in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a recognised ECE teaching qualification and current practising certificate.
• Experience leading or stepping into leadership roles within an ECE setting is essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with tamariki, whānau, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support daily centre operations including staffing ratios and rostering
• Mentor kaiako to grow practice, reflect, and thrive
• Provide leadership and support to teaching teams
• Step into Centre Manager role when required
• Support high-quality teaching and learning aligned with Te Whāriki
• Build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, well-organised centre environment
