Job summary

Busy Bees Hobsonville is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead with energy, drive people development, and foster a strong, inclusive team culture within a vibrant local community.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or NZQA approved qualification and be registered teachers. A leadership background in ECE, knowledge of Te Whāriki, and familiarity with enrolments and rosters are essential. NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in the ECE sector with a passion for coaching and mentoring staff.
• In-depth knowledge of Te Whāriki, MOE Regulations, Licensing Criteria, and Teaching Council requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build community relationships and manage occupancy targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the centre performance and grow a high-performing team.
• Deliver quality care and education with compliance and financial accountability.
• Mentor staff through Professional Growth Cycles and 1:1 discussions.
