Job summary

GHD in New Zealand is seeking Earthing and Bonding Engineers to join its Electrical Delivery team in Wellington. You will bring specialist earthing and bonding expertise to major renewable energy, power networks and infrastructure projects across public utilities and private developers.

You will deliver concepts through construction, review designs and reports, mentor teammates, prepare tenders, and collaborate across GHD offices to win opportunities while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in detailed earthing and bonding design.
• Experience across energy, resources, transport and buildings sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mentor colleagues and build engineering capability.
• Experience preparing or leading proposals and marketing pursuits.
• Effective time and commercial management across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver earthing, bonding and related projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Prepare and review design drawings, technical reports, inspection and test plans and other deliverables.
• Manage work packages with client-side engineers through design reviews and progress updates.
• Develop technical resources and provide training to build capability.
• Estimate and prepare tenders and proposals for electrical scopes of work.
• Collaborate with colleagues across GHD offices to pursue and deliver project opportunities.
• Perform site inspections and prepare reports for proposals, design delivery and construction activities.
