Job summary

Ecoworks is building a local reuse network across Otago, and we are hiring a Content & Community Lead to grow an authentic online presence and real community engagement.

You will own content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, develop a live community around our station activations, and confidently represent the brand on camera and in person, with equity for early team members. Experience with Canva and basic video editing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Content-native: active on IG/TikTok/FB and understands organic performance.
• Built or grown a real community, not just managed a page.
• Canva-proficient; basic video editing.
• Comfortable representing the brand on camera and in person.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook—focus on real community content.
• Own the posting calendar and adapt to what performs.
• Engage with residents and grassroots groups; build a community around station locations.
• Attend station activations and events; capture content on-site; be comfortable on camera.
