Job summary

ACG Tauranga seeks an organised, energetic Sports Coordinator to support day-to-day delivery and development of the school sports programme. Reporting to the Head of Sport, this permanent part-time role provides high-quality administration, logistics and communication across teams, clubs, events and tournaments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sport, coordinating fixtures and events, with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Experience coordinating sports fixtures, events, and inter-school competition.
Strong administration and record-keeping abilities for teams, clubs and events.
Excellent communication with staff, students, families and external bodies.

Responsibilities

Coordinate registrations, entries, fees, uniforms and equipment for all teams and events.
Prepare clear communications for students, families, staff, coaches and managers.
Support logistics for fixtures, tournaments and school sporting events, including transport and forms (EOTC).
Attend regional sporting events and occasional out-of-hours fixtures.
Maintain accurate participation and equipment records.
Manage the Tauranga Sport inbox and supporting the Sports Website and Instagram.
Provide administrative support to coaches, managers and student leaders.
Build relationships with clubs and regional sporting organisations.
